Autoclaved Aerated Concrete

As a testament to Autoclaved Aerated Concrete's worldwide importance in construction and design, it has been the focus of two international conferences in 1982 and 1992. That is not to say, however, that these two symposiums comprise the sum total or research conducted on AAC. Several manuals regarding testing and design of this material have been published from the late 1970's to the present. These manuals have been prepared by established research societies, CEB and RILEM, as well as industry producers. All of these manuals focus on clearly outlining material properties and design procedures for AAC.
